Questions
Good to know
I already have a profile — do I still need this?
Almost certainly. Most profiles are missing categories, services, or photos that directly affect ranking. We audit yours free as part of the starter package.
Will you respond to my reviews?
Yes — with our Reputation Management add-on we can monitor and respond to every review in your voice, or draft replies for you to approve.
What if my listing was suspended?
We have experience with reinstatement. We’ll assess the cause and handle the appeal process for you.
Isn't my website more important than my Google Business Profile?
Not for local visibility. Most nearby customers see your Google Business Profile long before they ever click through to your website — often several times more often. Your GBP is frequently the first (and sometimes only) impression a nearby customer gets of your business.
If people see my GBP more, why do I still need a website?
Your website still matters for credibility, deeper information, and conversions once someone's interested — but your GBP is what gets you found in the first place. Think of it as the front door: most local searchers check hours, reviews, and photos on your profile before they ever decide the website is worth a click.
Does an unoptimized GBP hurt me even if my website is great?
Yes. A weak or inactive profile means fewer people ever discover your website exists. No matter how polished your site is, it won't get traffic from local searchers who never made it past the map pack.
What actually moves the needle on GBP visibility?
Complete business information, active photo updates, consistent reviews, and regular posts. Profiles that are fully filled out and kept current are shown to earn substantially more engagement — clicks, calls, and direction requests — than the average listing.
Should I focus on my GBP or my website first?
For local businesses, GBP first. It's usually the higher-traffic, higher-intent touchpoint, and it feeds people toward your website rather than competing with it. We treat GBP and website as a system — but if your profile isn't optimized, your website's local traffic ceiling stays low no matter what you do to the site itself.
