The Historic Lithia Springs
In the late 1880s, the Sweet Water Park Hotel opened here as a luxury health resort with hundreds of rooms. Mark Twain, the Vanderbilts and Presidents Cleveland, McKinley, Taft and Theodore Roosevelt all signed in as guests.
The hotel drew guests from across the country until it burned in 1912. That was word of mouth at its best. Today, the same thing happens through online reviews.
Sweetwater Creek State Park
Sweetwater Creek State Park is Lithia Springs' main outdoor spot. Its trails lead to the ruins of the New Manchester mill, burned during the Civil War in 1864.
The park also appears in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1. Visitors searching for food and services nearby find businesses with a strong Google Business Profile.
What Lithia Springs Is Known For
Lithia Springs is known for its mineral water.
It is also known for Sweetwater Creek, which runs through the eastern side of the community, and for its easy access to I-20 and Thornton Road.
Why Local SEO Matters for Lithia Springs, GA Businesses
Unincorporated means mixed-up listings
Since Lithia Springs isn't a city, Google sometimes labels local businesses as Douglasville, Austell or Mableton. Customers searching "Lithia Springs" may never see you.
Our local SEO service makes sure your profile, website and citations clearly say Lithia Springs and 30122.
Creek-side homes need water pros
Sweetwater Creek runs right through the community, and nearby parks have a history of flooding in heavy rain. Douglas County's 2009 flood hit Lithia Springs too.
That keeps drainage, plumbing and water damage companies busy. We help them be the first call when it storms.
